National Service Scheme (NSS)

National Service Scheme (NSS) has been established in our college as per the guidelines of the University and the policy of the central government of India. Since its establishment, the institution is making the mark on the local, national and University levels. Numbers of our former volunteer have been involved in the social work of the different kind. The volunteers who were selected earlier have been recognized as the pivotal personalities in the society. They have imparted their knowledge to work on local, national as well as village levels. The committee members and the volunteers work hard not only in the campus but they get fame name and reputation outside the campus.

Every year, our unit of NSS involves in number of social activities such as-Village cleaning, eradication of superstitions, anti-crackers rally, save girls, adult education, tree plantation, programme for women, AIDS awareness programmes and so on. The voter-registration campaign, the voter motivational programme and the celebration of the Constitution Day are our noteworthy activities to inculcate values of the Democracy in the minds of youth. The organization of NSS camp (College Level) is an integral activity of NSS department. In this, the selected volunteers involve in various activities such as-Motivational lectures, Field Work, Cultural Programmes in the select village. In short, the NSS unit not only develops a sense of national service theoretically but also practically in the lives of many people from the society to make them real citizen of India.

  • Acquire leadership qualities and democratic attitude.
  • Develop capacity to meet emergencies and natural disaster.
  • Practice national integration and society harmony.
